I a a non fiction writer from Surrey, south east England, published in various magazines, and author of one book, Genesis of Man.
Subtitled the answer to life, the universe and everything in between, this is a fascinating read laden with scientific, Biblical and historical facts. One of the key things I wanted to achieve in writing this book is a blending of scientific, religious and spiritual thought, since I believe that it is important to demonstrate that these three rather than antagonsising, can and indeed do complement each other. There are then two ways of viewing the subtitle -firstly that the book does address life, the universe and everything in between. It can also though be seen as a play on one of the main themes - the need to find balance between the light and dark. This is a theme seen in many recent films and television shows such as Heroes and even Harry Potter. The everything in between can then be viewed as the balance - or the space in between. I utilised many different sources during the writing of this book, being particularly inspired by the science fiction television programme Babylon 5, as well as the Conversations with God books, channelled by Neale Donald Walsch. I have a lifelong interest in ancient mysteries and spiritual philosophy and studied the history of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, as well as human origins via Birkbeck College in London. In addition to my writing, I work part time for an electrical retailer and also as editor for my local community newsletter. I have a great love of travel, and the outdoors, having visited 26 countries around the world. I am most at home though visiting the island of Lundy in the Bristol Channel.
